Begining in 2004, IVI-GOLF launched an Education Event Series named Bunker Boot Camp (BBC). At that time,we had coordinated the event with Super NEWS/TurfNet and conducted over 15 BBC's.

In 2008 and 2009, we converted the program to Bunkers360 and coordinated it with the GCSAA, during our Silver Partner program efforts.

We are now managing our traveling educational efforts ourselves and welcome opportunities to work with regional groups to bring bunker discussions, working panels, and hands-on activities to the marketplace.

Bunkers 360

Bunkers360 was originally set-up as an External Educational Series packaged for the GCSAA with .40 GCSAA Education Points available to those that attended. Future events will be slightly less structured, but designed to include training and discussion balanced by an actual on-site bunker project. 

The program focuses exclusively on bunker-related topics including construction, renovation, and maintenance. As we move forward, our goal is to create an event structure that provides perpectives, experiences, and recommendations presented by industry professionals including architects, builders, owners, and superintendents.

In the past, we've included topics such as -- Bunkers and the Master Plan, Designing for Maintenance, Restoration and Renovation, Budget Considerations, Project Management, Guidelines for Communicating to the Members/Golfer, Financing, and more. We;ve also structured the event to have an interactive, “hands-on” setting.

Originally at part of the Bunkers360 Program, the "Bunker Toolbox" was created to provide additional project assets, including project planning templates, worksheets, tutorials, presentation tools, and project spreadsheets. They are now available here on the Sandtrapper website. We invite you to explore the Toolbox contents and extract as much value you may need for your project.
