When bunker liners, sod or erosion control materials need to be used on the course, think no further than the EC Blaster by IVI-GOLF. Developed by the manufacturers of Sandtrapper bunker liners, the EC Blaster represents a major breakthrough in cost savings for all users and installers that require sod staples for product installation. Used in construction applications for more than 10 years, the EC Blaster employs the proven performance and power of pneumatics in its operation.
Coming with a one-year parts and labor warranty, the EC Blaster sets galvanized 11 gauge wire staples with 100 lbs of air pressure, far more powerful than the conventional hand and mallet application of one staple at a time. During the last 10 years, the EC Blaster has set millions of staples in less time and for less money.
Weighing in at 10 pounds, the EC Blaster is equipped with a number of time-saving features. It is easily attached to its air supply using quick connect fittings. Just connect the air hose to the EC Blaster and you’re ready to work. And loading the clips of 50 staples each couldn’t be easier. Just slide the spring-loaded pusher, drop the staples into the holder, release the pusher, and you’re ready to go.
The stainless steel bottom guide keeps the staples in line for setting. The EC Blaster is fitted with a side handle that can be mounted on either the left or right side of the tool for increased leverage when the operation requires it. The molded rubber grip allows for solid, comfortable control. The EC Blaster is a safe tool and is easily operated. It cannot fire unless the presser foot is depressed on the ground and the trigger is pulled, thus preventing misfires and injury.
It doesn’t take much figuring to realize the dramatic labor savings that a single EC Blaster can generate, setting staples as fast as one per second. Mating two staplers on a small gas generator, two men can install staples at an impressive rate. This equates to faster installs and greatly reduced labor costs. The case for the EC Blaster is clear.
